AZA is more than a band—it’s a global collaboration led by Fattah Abbou, a master musician, cultural advocate and ambassador. At its core, AZA’s music is deeply rooted in the traditions of the Imazighen (incorrectly called Berber) people of North Africa, drawing from ancient styles like Ahwash, Rwais, and Gnawa. But it doesn’t stop there. Fattah brings together musicians from diverse backgrounds, creating a sound that’s both timeless and boundary-pushing - a true sharing of cultures and art.

For over 20 years, AZA has been sharing this unique fusion with the world, performing everywhere from intimate venues to international festivals. Their music is a conversation—hypnotic rhythms, intricate melodies, and soulful vocals that reflect the rich tapestry of Amazigh culture while embracing global influences.
